Well worth it!

Way better than going to the dentist for a cleaning. I just got my first one and I can put to rest the idea of smoking and drinking less tea away! I think you could use this once a week and manually brush the other days and get an entire year out of one brush head. If each family member had a different brush head you could prolly use the same handle...what can I say I'm thrifty.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
By DanR on Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2025
The Good: Seems to work well, is a good size and I like the round head (my last one was traditional shaped). Has a gum pressure sensor but I have never even triggered it, except to test it. Seems like a gimmick. The Bad: a- Battery lasts about 14 uses (7 days at 2 min each in morning and night). Meaning you have to charge once a week for normal use. If you use it 3x a day, you have to charge almost every 3rd day. My last electric brush lasted over 3 weeks. Battery on the Oral-B Pro 1000 is very small, apparently. So, if you go on a one week trip, you got to take the charger. It's made to be able to be kept on the charger all the time but we can't do that. b- Charging is verrrrry slow, takes almost 20 hours. b- While it does provide 30 second alerts, it doesn't shut off by itself. c- No case provided; not even a cover for the brush head. The Ugly: hard to hold when wet as it is slippery without a good gripper on it. Would not buy again.
