OMG IT WORKS!!! Pls read my entire review

WE HAVE NO FLEAS! How can this be?!? I can't believe it! I read the reviews and I can't understand why some are saying Vet's Best home spray doesn't work. This is great stuff, worth every cent and more. I Frontlined all our pets, which was great, fleas gone on pets, but they were still in the house, in furniture, in carpeting, etc. We were getting itchy ankle bites while we slept. I sprayed everything. Had to get rid of a few rugs because I know fleas are experts at surviving in carpet. I have fought fleas before, years ago, before Frontline existed. I did not win the war. We spent years wasting a lot of money on bombs for every room, shampoos, useless flea collars, everything...for nothing. Then we moved. I know firsthand fleas are tough to get rid of and the key is not to get them. We've always had indoor cats and 1 dog. Since the introduction of Frontline, I always made sure to use that for the dog all spring and summer. But I got so busy this year. I didn't get to it. In the back of my mind I didn't think it was such a big deal. After all we've been flealess all these years. Would it make such a difference if I got to it late, in June instead of April? I was so stupid. Of course the dog got fleas and now 5 cats also had fleas. Thank God Vets Best saved us! This product works! Just make sure you leave no area undone. I dont know if it helped that I sprayed heavily before I read the instructions to just mist. The beds and couches had to dry for an hour or two, I sprayed so much. I sprayed in all the furniture crevices, between mattresses and boxsping, every inch of pet beds, any rug I wasn't getting rid of got saturated twice. Fleas will find safe places to hide. Eliminate the safe places! We noticed the difference almost immediately. The scent was mostly pleasant but very very strong, all windows were opened once we realized how strong the scent. We put the dog outside and the cats in the bathroom for an hour in case the strong smell would effect them adversely. I had several blankets we keep tossed on couches. I washed those blankets in hot water and then kept them folded in a laundry basket in the basement since it's summer and we don't need them on the couches. No pets go in basement by the way. I assumed the hot water killed anything but weeks later I stood near this laundry basket to get something on a shelf and I felt something on my feet. Tiny black dots! Freaking fleas! Either fleas survived the washer or eggs did. I sprayed my feet and the blankets immediately, no issues since. THIS STUFF IS A GODSEND!!! I keep several bottles around the house just in case we see or suspect anything; 1 in the basement, 2 on the main level and 2 upstairs. We also bought a flea product at Home Depot to spread around the yard. It's been a month since, might do that again just in case. Make no mistake, fleas are in this fight to win. Do not underestimate them. Get them everywhere they might be. Save yourself years of fighting them by doing a thorough job of killing them everywhere...on the pet, on the furniture, in the yard. Frontline (or similar product) alone won't do it. This spray alone won't do it. Just a few surviving can repopulate almost overnight! Vet's Best home spray should be part of your arsenal of weaponry in a multi pronged attack. You CAN win this war! 9/23/20 UPDATE: WE STILL HAVE FLEAS!! Because Frontline doesn't work! We have used Frontline several times now and it's not like it used to be. It kills some but not all. We called Frontline and they said we can use it again so I've been re-dosing 1 dog and 5 cats about every 2 weeks, lots of money spent. It's not killing the fleas and they don't open a claim unless you've used it for 3 months. That's 3 months of fleas multiplying!! The Vet's Best home spray though is doing a great job. We spray the dog bed, the front door rug, our beds (when we don't, we get ankle bites) and all fabric furniture (couches, chairs). After this I'm trying Seresto collars. It will cost $300 for 6 pets but I'd give anything to get rid of the fleas once and for all. We also dump salt on all fabric furniture and the one rug. We definitely have them on the run but they are still on our pets. If only the frikin Frontline worked!!!

Better as a flea deterrant than killing them
By Fdo Shopper on Reviewed in the United States on August 12, 2016
This product is effective on carpets, fabrics etc. as a preventive measure but didn't kill fleas on my dog as per instructions. To kill fleas you have to spray them directly or, as another reviewer stated, you have to drench your pet. I live in Florida, in a pet friendly building and periodically there is an explosion of fleas in the hallways. Unfortunately, it can't be helped as the city doesn't spray for fleas in the parks. Initially, I tried spraying my pup as per instructions, in fact I went a little overboard, and I noticed a flea on her coat. I thought 'great it's about to croak, this stuff really works'. No the case. She stopped scratching for a little while but after 40mins-1hr the scratching came back. Over the next few days, I tried it again, same results and the final time I combed the sprayed areas and saw a flea (that's when I tried spraying the flea directly and adios). My dog wasn't infested with fleas so it's not like this was a big job at hand. But I could see she how she would periodically pick-up a hitchhiker or five from the hallways. My dog is a 103lb Great Pyrenees, a big target and this is the first time we've ever had a problem. She's been given Friponil (Frontline, PetArmour) but it takes time for it to reach extremities like legs so I wanted something non-toxic that could work immediately. From what I saw it looked as if the spray drove fleas away and when the potency died down, they'd return. Much the same way a citronella works with mosquitos. I was ready to throw away the bottle when I was bitten standing in the hallway, outside of my apt and thought "instead of just throwing this stuff away, let's give it a try out here". I sprayed in a pattern working away from the front door twenty feet in both directions. Tada. The fleas are gone and haven't come back. Outside the sprayed area you'll still get bitten but I've kept up the hallway treatment and haven't had any problems. From what I've seen and from what other reviewers have stated, the spray works to kill fleas when you drench your pet with the liquid (not recommended) or when you spray the flea directly otherwise the recommended pet treatment methodology doesn't do much (in my case it didn't do anything). Instead, it works to keep living areas clear of fleas, so it can be used as a preventative measure on carpets, fabrics, rooms etc.. You should be careful when spraying your pet as this is a concentrate of peppermint & clove and it will sting. Some folks complained about the smell. Yes, it's a strong peppermint smell but it doesn't linger for very long and once it's settled leaves a nice fresh scent. Bottom line; I've quit using the spray on my dog but I've continued using it in the hallway and will continue to do so.

let me start off by saying that i don’t often leave reviews for products. only if they’re either really bad, or really good. this one thankfully happens to be the latter of the two. roughly 2 weeks ago my dog started itching this same spot near her tail. at first i thought it was allergies, until a few days passed and she was letting me rub her belly, and i noticed a flea on her stomach. i picked it off and flushed it down the toilet (if anybody has dealt with fleas before, you know how it is virtually impossible to kill them in your hands). i immediately started searching for some products to help rid my house (and my dog, of course) of any and all fleas. first of all i bought 2 of the sticky terro traps that are meant for fleas. i put one downstairs next to my dog’s crate (she’s still a puppy so to help crate train she sleeps in the crate at night). i put the other terro trap in my room next to where she lays. the glue trap next to her cage has caught a handful of fleas so far (not to mention a spider, a fly, and many fruit flies LOL so those are really helpful as well). for context, the terro traps have a lightbulb on them, which attracts bugs with its warmth. this significantly helped bc with the warm weather, i’ve had the air conditioning on in the room that my dog sleeps in, so i assume some of the fleas weren’t fond of this, and gravitated toward the heat emitted from the trap. now, enough of the terro traps. this spray here.. is amazing. there are 2 different spraying intensities- one is like a jet stream, and the other is more of a mist. both options were helpful. i sprayed it either directly on my dog’s fur (careful near the face!) , or on her brush which i then used on her. this stuff within seconds killed the fleas on her. any that i noticed on the surface of her fur.. one spray and they were falling onto the floor. if they were still moving when on my floor, i’d spray them again but at that point they would die and i was able to flush them. i used this spray on all of my furniture and carpets. no stains or anything. the smell is actually really nice. a nice spearmint scent. it isn’t TOO overpowering, but either way if it gets the job done, i couldn’t care what it smelled like. on top of all of this stuff i’ve also given my dog capstar pills. they’re safe to give every day in addition to using other *certain* flea treatments. so far now it’s been about 4 or 5 days and i haven’t seen any fleas on her, and i’ve been doing thorough searches through her fur i’m not going to say this spray has single handedly saved me, because i definitely had the help of a few products, but this stuff works amazingly and if you’re having a flea infestation i would HIGHLY recommend it
Let's wait to see if it works well

I usually do not write reviews on products but I felt like this one deserves it! Please read the whole review! If you are considering buying this for real, it is worth reading. I was skeptical of this product, but optimistic. I needed something to work on our recent flea infestation in our house. This was the first year we have had fleas in the house (other than on the pets), but this time they were on a mission to take over the house. I was getting the brunt of the bites between myself, my wife, and our 2 kids. I was getting bites everyday, all day long. We tried the carpet sprinkle-on stuff from Walmart with no help. Tried a food grade diatomaceous earth, covering all of our carpets as well as putting on and feeding small amounts to our cat. Didn't seem to get any luck from that. Finally I ordered 12 flea foggers and bombed the whole house and let it sit for an hour longer then recommended. All seemed pretty good that night and the next morning (only found 1 flea on me that night, and 1 first thing in the morning). Then a little later in the morning I had one crawling on me when I was out and about. I figured at that point they may also be in the cars. By that night and the next day I started to notice things just about back to how it was before bombing. I was over the fleas at this point. I got on Amazon and Google and started searching for something that would work, and that would also be safe and easy enough to use around the kids and pets... FINALLY, I found this product. I read the reviews and decided to go for it. What was the worst that could happen? Be out $15? Worth a shot. So I waited... ONLY 3 days and then it was here! Didn't even pay for fast shipping. SO THIS IS WHAT I FOUND: Opened the container and smelt it: Hmmm, that smells pretty dang good (as long as you like the smell of peppermint). Read the instructions and everything seemed pretty easy. Went ahead and decided to do a little test. I waiting for a flea to jump onto my leg (didn't take long AT ALL). I grabbed the little critter and plopped it in a little glass jar with a lid. I grabbed the spray and just put a tiny bit in the jar and made sure it touched the flea. Then I waited... watching in disbelief, I saw the flea wiggle for about 5-10 seconds and then it stopped moving all together (this timing is not exaggerate AT ALL!!!). I opened the container and took the flea and then examined it, only to find out it was DEAD!!!! 10 seconds, no harmful chemicals, no nasty odors, just a dead flea! So maybe this was just a coincidence? Started spraying down all the furniture (couches, beds, chairs), all the carpets and rugs, the cat (he didn't appreciate it very much, but it was a lot easier than the flea bath we gave him days earlier!), and the interior of both our cars. While I was spraying down the house and noticed 2 fleas on my leg. I decided to just spray them right there on my leg. Put my leg up on the bed and gave them a little squirt. One jumped off right away and I saw it start hoping on the bed, until finally it stopped hoping (only a few seconds after spraying). The other one crawled around on my leg for about 5 seconds and then came to a stop. Looked at it close and it was dead. No itchy skin or burning. Now an hour later my leg is still fine (I actually ended up putting this product all over both my legs while I finished spraying). SO, based off of my initial experience I would have to say that this product is THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD!!!!!! I bought the 32oz bottle and I was able to spray down 3 couches, 3 beds, and rocking chair, and small recliner, a carpeted stairway, 5 small rugs, and 10x15 carpeted room, 1 cat, 1 midsize car, 1 small SUZ, and both my legs. And I even still have a little bit left in the bottle! If this stuff continues to work as well has it initially has then this is A LOT cheaper than the amount of foggers required to fog my whole house (still leaving my cars and cat untreated) and it was sure as hell A LOT less work then fogging!!!! PLUS it smells much better than the foggers. I have already decided that if I do see significant results after a few days that I am planning on purchasing more of this for if I ever need them again, or even just to do a little maintenance here and there to make sure they don't come back. So for anyone that isn't sure if this product is going to work or not I say GET IT and TRY IT. I really do not think you will be disappointed as long as you use it correctly. Make sure you get those places that you might otherwise forget about or not think of (under cushions, under couches, etc.) I do plan on writing a follow-up review once the product has had time to kill for a few days. If I don't it is just because I forgot to, not because I am disappointed with it. If it ends up not making a long time difference then I will write that in the next review. But so far this stuff is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is very easy to use. It works fantastic in the house, i.e. carpets, drapes, rugs, upholstery on furniture; everyplace my dogs go. I use it to spray their kennel, their bedding and the parts of the yard that they have access to. The smell can be very strong, depending on how much you use. If you spray it lightly, it smells more like peppermint. Spray it heavily, and it smells strongly of cloves. It kills fleas, and certain ticks, on contact. It does repel the little blood-suckers as well. After the first heavy spraying, we did not have a re-infestation that year, so I suppose it killed the eggs as well. This stuff works better than anything else I have ever tried, with the exception of controlled poisons that can no longer be obtained without a permit: Like DZ25. My dogs have not had any problems from being directly sprayed with this, but I have seen reviews, right here on Amazon, that have shown dogs that had major skin / allergic reactions. My recommendation is to dab a little, with a cotton ball, on one very small part of your dogs exposed skin; so you can see any reaction with little to no hair in the way. If your best friend has a reaction, then by all means , discontinue use, bath them thoroughly and monitor them for any additional problems, and/or the reaction area getting worse. If it gets worse; take them (and the rest of the bottle) to the Vet. It is better to not take any chances with your friend(s). One of my dogs has extremely sensitive skin, and he used to itch all of the time. It had gotten so bad that he was scratching himself raw and crying while he scratched. We found a good, natural solution for him; but he has never had any problems with this product. Use caution with your friend(s) There are other solutions for flea and tick infestations, but this works better than any other I have tried. This product is really inexpensive compared to other solutions out there, because it is competitively priced and it just works so much better. I will continue to purchase this product for my house and pets, and my in-laws house and pets. My in-laws babysit our dogs when we have to go to appointments, or out of town, but our dogs used to always came home heavily re-infested. Finding this, and using the Nexgard treats, has stopped my dogs from being re-infested with fleas and ticks. I am buying a bottle of this, and a bottle of the yard spray, for my in-laws so we don't have to fight it any longer. I highly recommend this spray. Our dogs are precious to us, we spend quite a bit keeping them healthy and happy: They are certainly worth it! Your dog's diet could also affect their ability to resist disease and infestations, so keep them as healthy as possible, as well as keeping them from flea and tick infestations.

This stuff almost killed my dog! I applied it as stated. He only had a small number of fleas from playing in the field recently but I was worried about the eggs. So after reading reviews, I thought this was a more natural solution to those harsh chemicals that other sprays have. With in 10 minutes or so of application, he began to get sluggish and by a half hour later, his head was limp and he started convulsing!!!! We washed him immediately, once with Dawn and twice with just water. The damage was done. He went into severe seizures which came on for hours. We obviously took him to the vet and I brought the bottle with me. The vet said that this was not all natural and that the chemical that starts with an "E" that is listed as a main ingredient (I don't have the bottle any more and can't remember the name if the ingredient) is a neuro toxin that basically made his neurons misfire. Our dog could not walk, see and his hearing was off. We'd call to him from one side and he would look the other way if at all. As he slowly started to recover almost 20 hours later, he began to drink large amounts of water. We took that as a good sign. He slowly regained the use of his legs. Now he walks and runs with a bit of a sway to his back legs. We are convinced he has vision problems and hearing issues which are seemingly permanent. And he sleeps a lot now. He was vibrant and full of life before. We just anguish over this. I've cried so many times and prayed that he would make a full recovery. I thought I was doing the right thing by buying this. We are very careful in the food and treats we give him and what we use for grooming products. That's why Vets Best seemed like the right choice. It has now been almost exactly two weeks since our nightmare began. My little baby boy is probably forever changed. We love him no matter what but are so angry that this company (and Amazon allows it) tells you how wonderful and how safe this is but fails to pull this from it's product assortment even though many many more people have had this happen to their pets. I did some reading into this and the internet is full of horror stories like ours. I'm not saying that this will happen to your pet, but do you really want to risk it? I wish to God I had never bought this. My little Freddie boy would be whole and healthy still. I can't implore you enough to not buy this. The vet said to stick to the major name brands because they are rigorously tested to even human standards even though there is no official government agency that apptoves things like this. Because of that, there's so much that these companies can get away with. Thank you for reading this review and know that I am being 100% honest and open for no other reason than to tell Freddie's story and to maybe help someone else from making the mistake I did. Be well and be safe.

When fleas attacked our pets and our home, it was time to attack them! We did finally win the war with the help of this home spray. We moved into a wooded area filled with acres of trees and lots of bugs, not to mention constant heat and humidity. We got infested with fleas and our vet told us that it was just the season and to spray our house down with a flea killer. We have indoor and outdoor cats, dogs and a ferret and got them all treated. I searched a lot of products on Amazon and wanted to find something that would be effective yet safe around my birds. When I came across Vet's Best Home Spray, I read the reviews and they really helped me purchase this item. I also liked the fact that it is made of a plant-based formula using essential oils. When I received this spray I immediately went into war mode. Every night I sprayed down everything I could both inside and outside the house and this went on for over a week. I sprayed down the couches, all of the kitten's condos, pet bedding that could not be washed, area rugs, mattress after the sheets were taken off, chairs, you name it I sprayed it. In our patio/pool area we have chairs and loungers that I also sprayed down. After a week, is when I noticed less fleas around the house and on my pets. Even though all my animals were treated, each night I used a flea comb and I still was finding fleas. Luckily with this spray each day got better and better. This spray really works and kills the fleas' dead. Since I have birds I was very worried about their health and they did just fine, and nothing happened to them. This scent of this spray is not bad at all, it smells like peppermint oil along with a menthol scent. After I sprayed everything down, the scent disappeared about a half hour to hour later. My family and I have allergies and this spray did not affect us at all. So, as far as odor goes, this spray is not the bad and smells like essential oils not chemicals. With the help of this spray I was able to kill all the fleas in my home and in my patio area. Now none of my pets have a single flea on them. I also did run the vacuum daily while using this spray, I swept, washed everything from sheets to towels and pet bedding in hot water. If we get another season of fleas this will be the first thing I reach for. To sum up my review, this spray really helped us get rid of our flea problem. It not only kills the fleas but also the flea eggs so that once you kill the fleas you are not looking at another hundred or so, eggs hatching. There is no chemical smell, it just smells like essential oils and the smell dissipates after close to one hour. I would recommend this spray to anyone that is also battling a flea problem.

I have NEVER written a review before. This past month and a half of dealing with a severe flea infestation has been one of the most challenging times I've ever experienced. I have spent so much money and tossed out so many things. I feel like we all need a support group. Did Vets Best totally fix my issue, no, but did it help immensely, speed the process up, and help with my state of mind? Sure did! Side note: HOW is there no easy way in the year 2023 to get rid of fleas?!? I don't want to get my hopes up too much that I am completely rid of Fleas, but I think I am for sure on somewhat of the other side of it. What I found most helpful during this process was reading everyone else's experiences, so I'll share mine in the hopes it helps at least one other person. My indoor (never outdoor, untreated) cat had been leaving this blackish dirt everywhere. I really had no idea what it was, I usually have my windows and screen door open and there was a lot of construction around my apartment, silly me just figured it was that...Well, I was scrolling through TikTok one night, and this woman is talking about how she noticed 'flea dirt' on her foster kitten, at that moment, everything just clicked into place for me. I checked my poor cat out, and sure enough I saw the little buggers. The next morning I woke up and my life has not been the same. Called the vet and they couldn't get him in for a few days (because of course), so I attempted a flea bath, but nothing is going to work until you treat the animal and start seriously treating your house. I have been vacuuming every single day, twice a day. I start with my big vacuum going around each and every wall of the house with the hose, and then I do a big vacuum. I then send the Roomba around. I did ultimately decide to toss my rugs, which some say was an overreaction, but anyone who is deep in the middle of this I think can understand. I vacuum the couch every other day. I did lay a sheet down over it, so the cat would have less contact. It took me about a week to start using the spray. At first, I bought WONDERSIDE, which I really liked the smell of the Cedarwood, however, that spray is VERY expensive and when I sprayed the floor, it left a film over it. I did spray Wondercide on my cat, but I don't really know how much that helped. As I was bleeding money, I was looking for a cheaper alternative, and I started using VETS BEST. I actually like spraying this on my couch and floors better. I've even used it in my car as a percussion. I have not sprayed VETS BEST directly on my cat. The smell is Spearmint, it's truly not super overpowering, lingers for a bit, and then dies down pretty quickly. And honestly, I would rather smell spearmint for 5 mins then have fleas running wild. Again, I cannot directly know for sure if this has done anything more than give me a little peace of mind, but let's put it this way, I just placed my 4th order. So, what would I say to someone just starting this terrible journey? 1. Treat your animal. My indoor cat will never be off flea meds for the rest of his life. I never want to go through this again. 2. Start vacuuming daily, and if you have a roomba, send that around too. Empty the vacuum OUTSIDE every time. It's also a good way to check your progress. 3. Brush your pet daily. I had a bowl of hot water with Dawn Dish Soap so they would die a hot soapy death. 4. Wash bedding every other day at least. (This has been the hardest, as I live in an apartment and have to pay for laundry, but you HAVE to do it) 5. Spray VETS BEST around the house every few days and then don't vacuum to let it sit. 6. If you can get rid of your rugs, I would...truly whatever gives your peace of mind, that's important. 7. CapStar! You can get it from your vet or way cheaper on Chewy. I wish I had known about this pill sooner. 8. I spoke with exterminators, and they said that they can come 'treat' the house, but given the life cycle of fleas, they'll have to come back again. Really the only thing you can do is vacuum. I like to think that over a month in a half in, I am almost on the other side and now am just maintaining to keep the next cycle at bay. But I cannot recommend this product enough. Good. Luck.
This works great but still need to know how to use it: follow my formula

Our dog got fleas in spite of monthly fleas prevention treatment. I wasn’t precise about the monthly prevention though like I should have been. I figured I could give it to her every 4-6 weeks and she’d be ok. Now I realize I needed to be as diligent with that as I am with the birth control pill. Luckily I came across the Vets Best product once my dog got fleas. It works great but you still need to be anal about how you use it. We eradicated our dog and ourselves of fleas after two weeks using the following method. I discovered our dog had fleas on a Tuesday evening, Day 0. I had been itching like crazy though a week or two prior to this but didn’t connect the dots it was due to fleas until I saw the fleas flying off my dog. It's important to continue to treat your house and dogs for fleas for the two full weeks as there are four stages of fleas: egg, larvae, pupae, and adult. Capstar pills are only effective against adult fleas, while Vets best is effective against all stages except the pupae stage, so you need to be diligent in order to kill the pupae before they turn into adults. I still saw stuff come off my dog on my flea comb through day 10 or so. Day 0 *Researched how to get rid of fleas and I ordered two bottles of Vets Best, 1 flea comb, and Capstar pills. Day 1 *Called vet. She didn't really help *Sprayed my dog with vets best, let it dry, then shampooed it out. I repeated this again eight hours later. *Gave my dog 1 Capstar pill that day. *Stripped my bed (normally she sleeps with me), my clothes, and her dog bed and washed these (took 4 large loads) in sanitary setting in my washer and steam extra hot dried them. *Any other linens laying around I double bagged for two weeks. *Vacuumed the floors 5 times. Like literally every time my dog switched positions I vacuumed. *Each time the floor was vacuumed I dumped the contents in the outside trash can. *Closed off all rooms in the house and only allowed my dog in the family room and master bedroom in order to contain the fleas. (Days 1-15) *That night my daughter combed through my dogs hair outside and found hundreds of eggs/larvae, which she removed and drowned in water, then tossed out. *Sprayed the entire house with vets best, including the sofa, chairs, baseboards. *Sprayed entire interior of the car with Vet's best *Called professional exterminators but they weren’t able to come until day two. Day 2, 4, 6, 8 *Sprayed dog again with Vet's best, let it dry, then shampooed it out *Vacuumed the floors 2-3 times throughout the day. Dumped out the contents immediately after each time. *Professional exterminators sprayed the entire floor of our house and outside. We had to leave the house for 3 hours until it dried. (Day 2 only) *Washed dogs bed, towels, and sheet she layed on, on high sanitary heat setting and steam dry extra hot dryer.(Days 2, 4 only) *Combed through my dogs hair outside and found eggs/larvae, which were removed and drowned in water, then tossed out. *Day 8 only: Sprayed entire interior of the car with Vet's Best Day 3, 5, 7 *Vacuumed the floors 2-3 times throughout the day. Dumped out the contents immediately after each time. *Gave dog 1 Capstar *Washed dogs bed, towels, and sheet she layed on, on high sanitary heat setting and steam dry extra hot dryer. (Day 7 only) *Combed through my dogs hair outside and found eggs/larvae, which were removed and drowned in water, then tossed out. Days 9-15 *Vacuumed the floors 2-3 times throughout the day. Dumped out the contents immediately after each time. *Combed through my dogs hair outside and found eggs/larvae, which were removed and drowned in water, then tossed out. All the stuff I did may sound excessive, but after reading several reports of people who can't get rid of the fleas for months, I would much rather go this route than deal with fleas for that long. By far the hardest part of the whole thing was not cuddling with my dog for two weeks.
