I've been playing ping pong for a couple years, using a basic paddle. One day a friend loaned me his paddle and I did really well with it. I went on Amazon, found the STIGA Apex and I really like it. It has made me a better player; I feel it and my friends concur.

I would consider myself an intermediate player and have just started to play a lot more recently. I decided to pick up this paddle based upon the reviews. I found that the paddle was way too light for my play style and did not provide enough spin or control. I would say that this is a paddle for beginners who are just starting out and would likely upgrade out of this paddle fairly quickly if they found any interest in the game. I would not purchase for myself again.
