Love the 10 year quality
By California Gal on Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2025
I have a number coded front door lock which takes a battery. I love that this battery will last for much longer than a regular 9 V battery it says 10 years I’d be happy with half that even.

Bad Product, Deceiving advertisement - Very poor support
By 888891 on Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2022
I purchased four of these batteries for my smoke dedicators . Hoping that I will not have to replace the batteries for few years instead of each year. Some place in the product description indecent ten years lifetime. I installed the four batteries in the smoke dedicators two month ago. Three days age one of the smoke dedicators was peeping. The battery was either low on charge or out of charge, I replaced it with everyday 9-volt Duracell battery I bout from Home Depot for about $3. I text Amazon. Since it was over 30 days, they informed that they must contact the company “Energizer” . It was after 5-m, the company customer service a closed! Big company like that has banker hours in support of their customer! What happened to good old fashion support. I guess the Energizer Bunny got o tired from running false commercial on TV and had to go to sleep early. Once again, text Amazon. This time Amazon agent was able to get Enlarger customer No support the phone with me. The agent was so cold concerned about filing her form rather than replace the battery or refund my money. So here are some f the questions – how old the batter? I told her I bought for batteries last week of January and installed them in smoke dedicators second week of February. She said “No . No the manufacture date is on the black part of the battery, I read it to her “08 Aug 21HG”. Then she asked for anther date on the sliver part of the battery “12-2031” apparently that is the shelve time for the battery but there is no indication of that. Then she asked where the batteries was were made, on the battery, it was of course made in China. Then she asked if I have the packaging for the batteries, I lost her here. I told her who the hell keeps batteries packaging around in case I bought bad product I need to return it. The she said: “I have to file a report for the investigating team or something like this” but first she need a copy of the battery! She will email me a case number and I need to answer all the questions and picture of the battery. Then they will investigate and let me know what they are going to do! All that for for$9 defective batteries. I am lad I did not by a car or a bot from this stupid company. Comments: - The product packaging clearly have the Ten years in bold in the product description and on the packaging. One would think that the life of the battery ten years not the shelve time. Who will buy a battery and store it for ten years? It is just advertisement lie to get you to buy defective product. - I asked what is the life of the battery installed in a smoke detector? She said eight to 12 months. Wow just like any cheap battery. Why the hell I should pay as five time as much for ten years shelve time and less than a year of lifetime. - “The TEAM“ has to investigate. What the hell “The Team” will inveterate, dead battery! Do you need a team investigate? I can understand the company quality control department may want to check out the battery to find what went wrong after they have it in their hands but not when I have in my hand. I wonder if they are Chines or Americans? - Why would they need a picture of the dead battery? Do they have new technology that can analyze the picture and find out what is wrong with it? - Why do I have to deal with email to just get my batteries replaced or my money refunded through Amazon? - Finally, there was no “ I am sorry that you received defective product” or “No problem, I will help you out”. Companies that do not sell good products and have very poor customer support soon will go out of business. - OH, this is the second time in six months were I receiver Energize battery that was defective. First time was batteries for my watch. The battery went out after ten days. Amazon refunded my money, and it was returned to the seller. - For me, I will never buy a product from Energizer product again. I will also tell me friend as you should.
