Super Cute!

Not only does this ship lightening fast, but it bakes one adorable giant cupcake. I will share with you some of the things I wish were in the description and/or the directions. One, it makes a cupcake approximately 5" across and 7" high, or to put that into perspective, the finished cupcake cake shown in the picture is actually on a saucer, not a plate. Two, you need to be sure and grease and flour the pans very well as, if it sticks, it is more difficult to get out than the average cake (at least the cupcake top is) due to the details in the pan. Three, although it includes a recipe for a vanilla cake, I chose to use a box yellow cake mix. I was able to get 3 cupcake cakes out of 2 mixes so 2/3 of a mix will make one cake. I posted a pic of the cake I made with this pan. It is the one with a hat box cake and teapot cake in the photo.

Super cute, molten middle

While this mega cupcake tin was just the thing for my daughter's first birthday, even after 40 minutes at 350 degrees her honey carrot cake was molten in the middle of the cupcake bottom. That is with advice from a pro baker friend to cook for that long with aluminum foil over the top the last ten minutes to keep it moist. This happened in the trial run version and the day of the event baking.
