Great Cover for Smaller Trailers!
By Carie Alexsy on Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2016
When I started to restore an early 1970s travel trailer, I knew I was going to need a strong cover if I didn't want all of my work to be ruined. Luckily I found the Expedition travel trailer cover and it's done wonders for keeping my trailer safe and dry! My trailer is an anomaly at only 12.5' long - far too short for most covers readily available in retail stores. While this cover is sized to fit a 14' trailer, I found that it actually fit around the curves and eccentricities of my trailer quite well! The locking straps at the front and back have made it extremely easy to pull the cover tight around my trailer and I was able to hide my on-board generator underneath it without a struggle. The side panels feature plastic D-rings along the bottom edges so that the longer sides can be tied underneath the belly pan for long-term storage. Because my restoration is an ongoing project, I really need a cover that's easy to roll up so that I can reach my trailer with ease. This cover has zippers at all four corners to allow for easy access, and the side panel covering the door is split into four sections that can each be unzipped independently. At the top of each panel are strips of velcro, perfect for holding panels rolled up and out of the way when access is needed. Of course the most important feature of any cover is its ability to keep ouit the elements and protect the trailer itself from weather and pest damage. The top of this cover, as well as a small "skirt" at the top of each side panel, is made from a durable material similar to duck cloth that does take a large amount of abuse. Typical rain, weather and storm conditions have done very little to effect my trailer or the cover itself, and at this point the only damage the cover has sustained has been a tear where I snaggeed a jagged piece of siding - not a typical situation unless you're in the middle of a complete rebuild. Overall, the Expedition travel trailer cover has been an excellent investment that's kept my project safe, sound and dry! I am exceptionally pleased with this cover and plan to get as much use out of it as possible!

Cover Disintegrated After One Winter
By Jonathan Kitchen on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2015
Let me start out this review by saying I wish I could give it a 0 star rating. This is absolutely a horrible product. Out of the bag it looks sturdy enough and the material seems like it would be suitable but it has no UV stability at all. This cover failed after one winter season when the outer shell material disintegrated revealing the clearly polypropylene layer. Save your money and buy a tarp from Lowe's. Would probably work just as well to be honest and would be 1/10th the cost. I'm going to contact the manufacturer and see if they will replace it but if this one is any indication the replacement would last one season as well.
