Smooth, great flavor, no aftertaste

People...yes, it's thick. Its casein, its exactly as it is supposed to be. If you want lighter, thinner...then you want Whey. For those familiar with casein, I believe this is a really great brand/product. It blends nicely, has a good choc flavor, not to sweet and doesn't have a bad after taste. I love Dymatize products!

Good Protein, So-So Taste and Consistency

I'm just a 50-something wife and mom trying to up her protein intake, and have been drinking protein smoothies to boost my daily numbers. Love the Dymatize ISO Protein Powder Isolate in Gourmet Chocolate, but their Micellar Casein Slow Absorbing Protein, Rich Chocolate - not so much. Glad I bought the 2 lb. container instead of the larger one.Dimatize's Micellar Casein Slow Absorbing Protein, Rich Chocolate is not that rich and is, as others have noted, kind of chalky. Note that I add a banana and berries - and the chalkiness still comes through, but the chocolate really doesn't..Since it does not matter which protein I absorb or how fast I absorb it, I'll be going back to the Dymatize ISO Protein Powder Isolate in Gourmet Chocolate. It just tastes SO much better for the same amount of protein. If absorption rate is not a determining factor for you, go with Dymatize's Isolate version.
