Sloggers Women's Waterproof Shoe, Size 8

I was looking for a gardening shoe that I could get muddy and clean easily. I found all that and so much more in Sloggers! I suffer from polyneuropathy nerve pain in both feet and finding shoes I can tolerate is a constant challenge. I wasn't even looking for comfort, just something I could wear in the garden for a short time, but these shoes are so comfortable I even sleep in them at times because they keep the sheets from putting pressure on my feet. I bought a size larger as others have recommended, and while they are slightly long, they put no pressure on my toes or the top of my feet. The sensation is somewhat like walking on gummy bears, but understand I have an altered sense of sensation in my feet so it may not feel like this to everyone. The packaging says "Wear it all Weekend" and after wearing my new most favorite shoes for three days, I ordered a second pair. I wear these everywhere and still have not figured out how plastic shoes that enclose my feet don't make them hot and sweaty, but they don't no matter how long I wear them. I don't usually fall in love with shoes as for me they are usually a pain in the feet, but I am in love with my Sloggers and wouldn't trade them for any other shoe no matter how high priced or fashionable. I did shop a bit on Amazon as the same shoes can vary widely here in price, but I got mine for a reasonable cost. For about five minuites I questioned if I was willing to be seen in public in multicolored garden shoes, but comfort won out and I got more compliments on my Sloggers the first time I wore them out than I ever got for expensive fashionable shoes. To classify Sloggers as garden shoes seems almost like hiding a light under a barrel but I suppose that technically they are garden shoes. I give them 5 stars only because I can't give them higher, and if I could I would fill my closet with nothing but Sloggers and send my old uncomfortable shoes to wherever used shoes normally go when you are done with them. You won't have that problem with Sloggers because not only are they made in the USA but they are recyclable. Just return your old ones to the company and they will be recycled into new shoes. Garden shoes don't get any greener than Sloggers and they come in a variety of whimsical prints as well as black. I highly recommend Sloggers for anyone who has feet. I wouldn't recommend them for running shoes but for general comfort in a shoe whose cuteness will grow on you, Sloggers are the best!
