The most intense cinnamon mouthwash
By WakkyWabbit on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2014
I like cinnamon toothpaste and mouthwash. I have tried most and Close-Up is my favorite for both. When it comes to the mouthwash, Close-Up mouthwash is twice as intense as most other cinnamon mouthwashes. It has a sting to it. It also seems to last longer. Using both the toothpaste and the mouthwash seems to prolong the effects. Also, if you take a small swig of mouthwash while brushing with the Close-Up toothpaste, you bet a better boost of the cinnamon and a much cleaner sensation. Lavoris cinnamon is no where near as intense as Close-Up. ACT is even weaker but I do use the ACT afterwards for enamel benefits. The other makers of cinnamon mouthwash seem to add mint to the cinnamon which gives it an odd taste which I do not like. Another reviewer mentioned that the mouthwash can be found at the Dollar Tree for $1. Well, at some Dollar Trees. Where I live, near Memphis, TN, one of the Dollar Trees carry the brand all the time, one only when available. When I shop the Dollar Tree, the Close-Up mouthwash is always the brand that appears to be the most bought. I usually buy 4-6 bottles at a time. I keep a bottle in my Jeep, one in the kitchen and one in my bath. The bottle has one of those squeeze tops where you must apply pressure to opposite sides of the cap at the same time in order to unscrew the top. It is fairly easy to remove the top on the bottles and does not require a lot of pressure. Some products with this type screw tap can be a bit much for people with arthritis or weak grips. If you have a sensitive mouth, cuts, "sores" from bridgework, etc, just beware this mouthwash can sting and burn on such sensitive areas. I have never found the burning sensation to be too strong but people with more sensitive mouths, such as my sister, find it a bit too much at times. I guess it all depends on your level of tolerance. How much do I like Close-Up mouthwash? Well, when my both my local Dollar Trees were out, I was willing to pay $7 for a bottle from Amazon. Yesterday, when the Dollar Tree had this item back in stock, I loaded up.

Pretty Good Cinnamon Sparkle BUT NOT AS GOOD AS LAVORIS
By Major T on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2020
With Lavoris being hard to find recently I tried this Close Up cinnamon mouthwash. It is OK but lacks the punch that Lavoris gives me. Close Up has a weaker flavor and hint of medicinal taste. I do not know why cinnamon flavor mouthwash is so hard to get these days...now even Close Up is disappearing.
