It's extremely sturdy and is well worth every penny that I spent to buy it. I'd do it again.

This label maker is absolutely great! I use it mostly for printing on heat shrink tubing for electrical wiring. I can hardly believe it's as inexpensive as it is. I would highly recommend it!

Subtle Annoying Issue
By Walter Horton on Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2025
Please bear with me while I share this story. I was initially impressed when I purchased the DYMO Industrial Label Maker | Rhino 5200 Label Maker. However, I couldn't ignore the reviews that mentioned quick power loss, sudden malfunction, and the absence of a battery. However, the dates of these complaints were not recent, which made it easy to complete my purchase. It suggested that Dymo had reviewed and fixed whatever issues the customers were complaining about. Therefore, I wasn't surprised that the package didn't have a battery, but I was disappointed. Despite the disappointment with the missing battery, I was hopeful when I discovered that the label maker could be powered by six double A batteries, which I had in the rechargeable form. However, my hope was short-lived, as the label maker seemed to devour the battery power at an alarming rate. To address the mad elephant in the room, the label writer would not power up after installing the six double-A batteries and pressing the back cover into place. Oh, boy, let's recharge the batteries. Okay, all batteries are recharged, but the power is still disconnected. What could be the problem? In this case, the culprit is the back cover, which features cradles to secure the batteries, preventing them from moving. The label writer's power is turned off by replacing the battery cover, and the battery power level indicator shows that the six double A batteries' power has diminished substantially. When removing the back battery cover and pressing the power button, the label writer comes to life, and when reinstalling the battery cover, there is no power. The replacement battery, sold by the third-party vendor BXT-FOCUS, is the next step in troubleshooting; if that fails, there will only be one option: RETURN.
