Excellent Mount, Be careful with the mounting Screws
By Benjamin on Reviewed in the United States on December 1, 2020
Alright, I just got off chat with Sanus Customer support, and they are sending me replacement mounting screws. In a nutshell if you are extremely careful you should have no problems. The issue with the screw is that its a hex female screw, rather than the entire head being a hex (as most others are). So too much torque and it will strip. I'm mounting into a cement wall, so I stripped 2 of them; as can be seen in the last picture where I used my own screw. I love the pull out feature, which I didn't quite understand when I bought it. I have a Samsung Q90T 75" and let me tell you there are a few issues with this mount and this TV. 1. The pull cables are too short to easily get to. I extended them with my own string. 2. The power cable does stick out on this model unlike the previous Q90R or the Q95T. I'm trying to decide between carving a hole in my cement wall, or finding a flatter cable. VERY poor design for Samsung here. 3. As I said earlier the screws should be Male Hex Head screws to give you more torque power and less stripping.

From Fiver Stars to Do Not Buy - with one small change
By Redwood George on Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2022
I'm a huge fan of Sanus. They have well designed, easy to install, good performing wall mounts. This is the sixth Sanus wall mount I've purchased in the past ten years, not counting mounts purchased for work or recommended to friends. I bought this exact same model about six months ago for my new living room TV and it lived up to expectations, easily a five star product. I just purchased another of the same model for a new television in the office and Sanus made one simple change that ruined the experience. Previously they've included hex-head lag bolts to mount the frame to the wall. The hex head bolts are easy to screw into the wall studs using a socket wrench or a crescent wrench. The new mount that I bought replaced those bolts with socket head bolts and nicely included the hex bit needed. Unfortunately the hex socket is too small for the amount of torque needed to drive into wall studs and the hex bit is made out of cheap, soft metal. I got three of the four bolts into the wall but the last bolt stripped out, ruining both the bolt and the driver bit, leaving the bolt only half-driven into the wall. Because I couldn't get purchase on the bolt, I had to tear it out of the wall with a small sledge and a large pry bar, which made quite a mess of the wall. Fortunately I had spare lag bolts on hand but for the average homeowner, this would have halted the project. Sanus may have saved a few pennies by switching to the new wall mount screws but by using poorly designed, cheaply made parts they ruined what is otherwise a well-designed, high quality product. This new version of the wall mount is a "Do not buy" - or if you do buy it, go to the local hardware store and get some proper lag bolts to mount it to the wall...
