Very smooth and illuminating

***UPDATE*** I've changed my review to 5 stars. The problem wasn't the eye cream, but my skin. I found another eye cream that was my best option, but still wasn't excited about it. After some other face/skin issues I discovered other products from Avene. My under eye problem was eczema/extremely dry skin. I'm now using their Xeracalm as a base eye cream to handle the extreme dry skin. Then I use this Avene eye cream on top. My eyes look fresh, hydrated, and shiny. The dark circles are extemely minimized. As a test I went back to my old eye cream and while my eyes are hydrated (thanks to Xeracalm) they don't shine and the dark circles appear more noticeable. So there's something in the Avene eye cream that just illuminates the area and makes it appear brighter. I'm so glad (!!!) for my other skin issues so I could try this eye cream again. Now it's my favorite! I got this because it was in an article saying how wonderful it was for dry, sensitive skin. It doesn't make my eyes water (like others) and it's smooth and creamy. It just doesn't do anything special. I still have dry, flakey eyes after using concealer. It's nice, but too expensive for just a basic cream.

Save your money and get Trader Joe's eye cream. Trader Joe's eye cream is an exact dupe for $6.99 This eyecream is nice but the dupe is better.
