Great, inexpensive bag!

This is an awesome bag! I bought two of these backpacks (in the "batik" and "lumberjack" colors) for my 10-year-old son and myself to replace our old shoulder strap bags. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality for a bag under $35 (sale price.) It has many pockets, and two large storage areas -- one for boots, one for the myriad of items needed for any skier or snowboarder....including adult-sized helmet w adult size boots (W 26.5), pants jacket, change of clothes, plus extra room. The zippers also seem to be smooth and strong. I also like how the backpack shoulder straps can be tucked away while the bag is stored during summer months. The only downside I have found is that the straps and back are padded but it is on the thinner side.

Nice design...poorly constructed

I bought this to carry my boots, helmet and various travel gear for a ski trip a couple of years ago. Love the size and fits into most overhead compartments (have used on several trips now). While I like the design and size of the bag, several seams for the backpack straps and carrying handle were not sewn well and rip out easily. I've had to make several emergency sewing repairs during my ski trips and I think I've finally given up on it and will look for another bag. I prefer not to be worried about a seam giving way while walking through the airport (happened on the last trip).
