Restore Your Shaver’s Performance with the Braun Series 7 70S Replacement Head
By DeAnna on Reviewed in the United States on June 13, 2024
I recently purchased the Braun Series 7 70S Electric Shaver Head Replacement for my Series 7 shaver, and it has made a significant difference in my shaving routine. This replacement head is designed to restore the performance of your shaver, ensuring a close, comfortable, and efficient shave every time. First and foremost, the compatibility of the 70S shaver head with Series 7 shavers is perfect. It fits seamlessly onto my existing shaver, making the replacement process quick and hassle-free. The precise design ensures a secure fit, maintaining the integrity and performance of the shaver. The quality of the replacement head is outstanding. The foils and cutters are made from high-quality materials, providing a sharp and smooth shave. The new head glides effortlessly over my skin, reducing the risk of irritation and ensuring a comfortable shaving experience. The close shave it delivers is comparable to a brand-new shaver, making my daily grooming routine more effective and enjoyable. One of the standout features of the 70S replacement head is its efficiency. The updated cutting elements work together to capture and cut more hair with each pass, reducing the time it takes to achieve a clean shave. This efficiency is particularly noticeable when shaving thicker or longer hair, where the replacement head performs exceptionally well. The durability of the replacement head is another strong point. The high-quality construction ensures that the foils and cutters remain sharp and effective for a long time. Braun recommends replacing the shaver head every 18 months to maintain optimal performance, and based on my experience, the 70S head is built to last that duration with consistent use. Maintenance of the replacement head is straightforward. It is easy to clean, either by rinsing under running water or using the shaver's cleaning station if you have one. Regular cleaning helps to maintain the performance and hygiene of the shaver head, ensuring a fresh and comfortable shave every time. The value for money is excellent. While the initial cost of the replacement head might seem high, the improved shaving performance and extended durability make it a worthwhile investment. It revitalizes your shaver, providing a like-new experience without the need to purchase an entirely new device. In summary, the Braun Series 7 70S Electric Shaver Head Replacement is an excellent choice for maintaining the performance of your Series 7 shaver. Its perfect compatibility, high-quality construction, efficient shaving, and ease of maintenance make it a standout product.

Gives close shaves, but fragile construction
By Zuke on Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2025
First off, I’m a big Braun shaver fan and have been using them for over 25 years. I've had a Series 5 and three Series 7 shavers (upgrading as they add new features, with the cleaning stations & without) and only buy OEM Braun replacement foil heads. When first installed, these Series 7 replacement heads will give you the same close shave as when the shaver was new. However, I have never gotten 18 months of quality service from a head, as shown on the packaging. There is a noticeable reduction in the shaving effectiveness after about 10-12 months of daily use, making you repeatedly pass over areas of your face, so I generally replace the foil head once a year. But about half the time, the head breaks before I get to 12 months, with my latest purchase failing after only 2 months of use. The screen in the center, which is supposed to help raise and cut certain hairs, is the piece that fails most frequently in my experience. As you can see from the pictures, it is spring loaded and detaches from one end of the head. The exposed edge of this is sharp metal, so it will now scratch or jab my face on anything other than a broad smooth area, like under my lower lip or between my upper lip and nose. Sometimes, one of the 2 large side screens will develop a small hole, which can then scratch your face with edge of the sharp metal exposed by the hole, but this has happened to me less than the center screen detaching. It seems like one structure failure or another has been happening more frequently in recent years, before the blades actually wear down, so I'm not sure if Braun's quality control has dropped or the internal construction of the replacement heads has actually changed. It feels too frequent to chalk it up to bad luck. The premium price you pay for this Braun head over non-OEM versions makes this disappointing, but I’m too chicken to take a chance on the knock-offs, so I’m stuck with this until I get frustrated enough to change to a different brand shaver.
