I love this salad bowl!

I love this salad bowl, and for the record, I paid full price. Here are the reasons I love this bowl, and would recommend it to others: 1. It is carved of one solid piece of wood, unlike most salad bowls which are made of strips of wood that are glued together and therefore prone to leaking and/or cracking at the seams. 2. It is an interesting shape - not your typical salad bowl. 3. The wood feels very nice and sturdy, 4. It is a great size for my small family. It holds one bag of green salad without looking under-filled, yet it could probably take another 1/2 bag.

Pretty, but...

Pros: This is a beautiful piece and perfectly sized as a serving dish. It is beautifully carved and would have gotten 5 stars but... Cons: The one I received is wonky/lopsided, and not carved evenly or warped. It will not sit flat on a table and wobbles like an offset table at a cheap restaurant.
