Perfect for an Apartment Balcony
By J on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2009
Pros: Grills like a full grill (see tips below though). It's mostly sheet metal; light weight and portable like a camping grill. The grill has easy clean removable rack and bedpan. Holds four burgers easily. Cons: Expensive. It's sheet metal; recommend thorough cleaning after each use, since sheet metal will probably rust easily. It's sheet metal; construction may appear cheap, even though it's the only way to keep it lightweight. Notes: Great if you live in an apartment, with a small balcony (especially if they looks down on keeping grills). You can bring it out and put it away quite easily. This is the main advantage for those concerned about theft. I highly recommend getting a hose that allows you to plug in to a normal size propane tank, a grill lighting wands, and a table to put it on (if you don't have one already). This cost adds up, but it may be your only option for urban grilling. It does what it promises and if you treat it nicely, it will last. Finally, the flame is a beautiful blue, sometimes invisible. On a full size grill, the flame is usually yellow and 3-4" away from your food. The flame is really hot and really close. So you should start cooking with it on the lowest setting until you get used to it.

Nice size, but flimsy with poor temp control
By Rak Sasa on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2012
I purchased this to supplement my regular two burner Coleman stove and replace the separate grill I used to bring camping. I also purchased the case and griddle attachment (it comes with the grill top). Construction is of thin stamped metal that doesn't fit very well together giving it a low quality feel. The minimalist latch on the front often doesn't engage which causes the grill to come apart when placed upright. Used as a grill with the included grill top it does a fairly good job of cooking evenly and about 4 hamburger patties can be cooked at once if you don't make them too large. As a griddle, with the optional smooth griddle top it is "OK". My problem with the griddle is the heat control. On the lowest flame setting, it gets a little too hot to make good pancakes and your batter will brown too quickly before the interior of the batter is cooked. This was an issue for me, because that is why I bought the griddle top. You can work around this by flipping them frequently. I didn't try eggs, but I'm guessing that they would require a lot of deft spatula work to keep them from overcooking. The non-stick finish on the grill/griddle works well and cleans easily. The grease trap under the burner is also easily wiped out or washed. The optional case stores the grill, grill and griddle tops and two propane bottles. Despite its shortcomings it still works well enough to keep using, but to buy again I probably wouldn't.
