Easy and simple tray
By Amanda on Reviewed in the United States on October 14, 2019
I registered for and received a Bumbo seat at my baby shower. Being a first time mom, I didn’t really know what I would need/want. My 6-month old is just starting to use his Bumbo seat, and it’s great to use for feeding since he just started solids a month ago. However, I’ve seen many other friends with similar seats that have trays attached and I was really wishing I had got one of those instead. However, I found out about this tray and it works great! Exactly what I wanted. It easily clips onto the Bumbo seat and is the perfect size tray for feeding or playing!

Would be safer if it were easier to install
By Carrie Rogers on Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2013
We use this tray with an older bumpo. It's a really tight fit and is hard to get onto the bumpo. In fact, I struggled with it so much yesterday that I didn't even notice that my daughters hand got caught between the tray and the seat and was pinched by the time I managed to fit the tray all the way on. Here's how to put the tray on best, in my experience: 1. Put your baby in the seat on an elevated surface, such as a countertop ( note-you are not supposed to use the bumpo anywhere but on the floor and you are not supposed to transport the baby anywhere while the baby is seated in the bumpo. However, I don't know how else you're supposed to get this tray on unless the bumpo can be elevated over a ledge--the fit is just too tight to get on without being able to push down firmly on the tray so the bottom of the tray slips under the bottom of the bumpo). 2. Strap your baby into the seat. 3. Place the tray over the horn of the bumpo and push the tray down so that there is a tight fit. 4. Slide the front of the bumpo about two inches over the ledge of the counter. Hold your baby safely, of course--falling from a counter can injure your baby! 5. With the front of the bumpo over the counter, push on the top of the tray until the base of the tray slides under the bumpo seat. Be sure your baby's arms and hands are not between the tray and the seat when you do this!! This tray is difficult to install, but stays in place once installed. It's easy to pop off by sliding the bumpo over a ledge and pulling out on the base when you're finished using it. It has a smooth surface so suction cup toys stick to it--and it's easy to clean. Also, we don't have a high chair--just the bumpo--and it works great so we can both feed her and turn her to us when she's eating. Obviously we break the "no babies on the counter" rule for the bumpo, but believe it's safe as long as we are with her watching closely.
