Best Knive Set Ever! Especially for a home chef!

I purchased these knives for my wife as she loves to cook. You set her in a kitchen, her culinary mind just come to life. She has been a huge fan of Rachael Ray for many years now and thought that after watching a video review that Rachael did herself about these knives, this would be perfect for her. She has tiny hands and has health issues that often make her feel weak. From her point of view, she states that the light feeling and the natural bend in the blade allow for easy glides back and forth during chopping. She said that the handle allows for terrific control and ease from chopping a variety of items, including meat! She stated that she would recommend this to any chef from a beginner to a pro! She also loved the case that it comes in. She always washes them with care and dries them immediately putting them back in their case with the foam pad. She now refers to the big knife as her "precious" lol...Idk if I should be concerned about that lol Do not put them in the dishwasher...hand wash a mild soap and water, we use Pomalive.

A good basic set of knives

These knives are sturdy--unlike a lot of cheap knives, the blade won't break or disconnect from the handle. And the handles are comfortable. This won't serve as your only set of sharp knives because the largest one is not very large. And the case is not convenient to open and close. In other words, nothing to exclaim about--but as described, good knives for the price. I don't know who Rachael Ray is--some kind of TV chef?
