Excellent Coverage Safe

Bought this product because the mesh ones I’ve used seem to let grease splatters through, are hard to clean and break down quickly. I bought one of these about a year and a half ago. It is still in excellent condition! It fits over any of the pots or pans I use, no splatters come through, is safe to use with the protective handle and super easy to clean. I store it on a hook on the inside of a baking cabinet door, so takes up minimal space. I bought this one as a gift for a friend who was impressed with the condition of mine after so long. I would buy another if I needed it, but mines still great! Highly recommend!

I should use this more often but I don't.

I don't use this as often as I should because it's bigger than any pan I have and it's a pain to wash in my small sink. Otherwise, when I did use it, it worked sort of well. I still got oil splattered on me but probably less than if I hadn't used it. It's probably going to be one of those little-used items in my kitchen but I'm going to keep it anyway. It's flat and stores well with the pizza pans. But if somebody saw it and said it was cool and wanted it, I'd give it away. I have plenty of those types of things in my kitchen.

Perfect for frying. No more grease spatters. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself.
Easy to clean

Pretty good

This splatter screen is really pretty good. The holes are a little larger than I might like (though they haven't enlarged over time, either), which allows a small amount of oil to escape, and I really wish it was just one inch larger in diameter so it would cover my largest pan. On the plus side, the silicone accepts high temperatures, doesn't rust (no matter how careful I was, my old metal splatter screen would rust just with high humidity), keeps 99% of the oil in the pans, doesn't "wear away" at the edges of my (expensive) non-stick pans, and goes in the dishwasher. So all in all, I'm fairly pleased. For the price, it seems like a pretty good deal.

Functional and multifunctional, rustproof, easy to store

I like that this is rust free, easy to clean and store. It is not just a spatter shield, it is also a decent strainer. It stores as easy as the rusty steel mesh ones. I'm glad I bought it.
After 2-3 years.....I still love mine!

This is my second one. My first one I am handing down to my college kid. I've had mine for 2 or 3 years on a gas stove. I've always washed by hand but that is just my choice. I love it better than a metal one. My metals never lasted long to me. They bent, tore and rusted over time. I have used this silicone one to even drain water from pans. Although hands have to he strong. I will keep buying these. I have gas stove and use all kinds of skillets..... teflon, cast iron, & waterless cookware. Never an issue.
Lets Fry!

Been experimenting more with cast iron cooking and so much stuff splatters I didn't even realize- this thing stays cool and stops the splatter. Used it on bacon, meat even soups. I like that I can pour liquid in through it w/o lifting it up, avoiding splatter as well. Super easy to clean, hot water and sometimes a soap swipe but then you just kind of smack it and the water pops all off and it's dry. I have a magnetic hook on my stove that this stays on for convenience, use it all the time.
So far so good

Haven't used it all that much yet, but so far, it's been good enough. As previous reviewers have said, the holes aren't quite small enough to keep all of the splatter in, but it's definitely better than none at all. Additionally, not having to clean the wire mesh mess makes the small amount of splatter completely worth it. Being able to just shove it in the dishwasher is also nice. I've run it through the dishwasher two or three times, and it still looks like new - no sag, no noticeable deterioration. It is very big though - not that it doesn't work with smaller pots and pans, but for storage purposes, it can be kind of a pain.
Works pretty well

This thing works pretty well. I have a screen with a handle I used before and it was impossible to get clean. This is super easy to clean so I like that. It collects a lot of moisture which is a bummer, when I take it off to move bacon then the water goes into the grease and causes it to splash a lot. That's really the biggest draw back for me.
