This is the valve everyone uses for a small pool

This is the valve used for medium to small pools that have a 1.5 inch water line. Pentair is the valve of choice for this application, they last for decades and they work well. It was easy to install and worked great with our new filter.

VERY DISAPPOINTED - CAME FROM THE FACTORY DEFECTIVE

The Pentair EC-140264 sand filter arrived on time with a price tag of $1,168. Had it professionally installed which included changing all existing plumbing to accommodate the new side design at just the labor cost of nearly $400 plus the cost of all plumbing parts. Put 240 lbs. of glass sand and necessary gravel at the bottom. Filled the filter and noticed the filter is leaking around the neck with a 8" hairline crack. The crack was not visible until the filter was filled up with water. The provided pressure gauge is made of cheap plastic and it was also leaking and could not be tightened. Very disappointed with the quality and materials used in manufacturing this expensive sand filter. Midland, Texas
