Expensive for Made in China Product

Country of Origin for this product in China. The new packaging, in nearly microscopic font size cleverly says PRC not China. Product seems to be reasonable quality but i can find many others on amazon with same specs made in China for less $. I would gladly have paid double the price for made in USA and nearly double if it was made in Europe/Japan/South Korea/other US ally
