Perfect little starter set
By bkbbbnme on Reviewed in the United States on September 9, 2017
I love this set, it's the perfect starting set. Cookies are small but that's okay. My kids love them. Do not wash your set clean it with a towel and store it in a container, I heat my oil medium high, I made my own batter started with 1 cup of flour, 1 egg, 1 cup of milk a splash of vanilla and dash of salt. As you are heating your oil heat the rosette on the handle also it stands perfectly, shake off excess oil and dip the rosette in your batter not all the way to where it covers it, just to the top hold the rosette under hot oil for about 20 secs and gently shake up and down it will pop right off, you oil has to be hot first for it to do this.

Very small

The butterfly works well. The heart, diamond , etc is too globby. The other one is too intricate to get off of the mold. The recipe that comes with it is good except I would add vanilla. The cookies are very light and perfect for any occasion. Would add lots of fun to a gathering, They are small, I would order several so that you can make several rosettes at once. Otherwise, it takes awhile. Easier with two people, One to remove from the mold and anotherto watch the browning

I bought this for my wife so she could make Mexican "buñuelos" I read the reviews, which were 50/50. When I received the package and examined the material, I'll admit it looked flimsy and cheap. But she used it during Christmas and made more than 100 buñuelos with all four shapes. They all came out perfect and never once did anything fall apart. The threads remained intact and the metal never fell apart. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to overpay for a utensil that will only be used a few times a year.
It's not too bad, great butterfly shape

Cool butterfly. They are smaller than anticipated. Not the heavy duty irons I was hoping for. Learning curve is they need to be heated up along with the oil. The flower/star shape has the batter cling to it no matter what, probably because of how small it is. The card shapes just turn out weird and don't really cook correctly.

A CHEAP PIECE OF JUNK..DO NOT BUY

A VERY CHEAP PICE OF JUNK! SO DISPLEASED. I USED ONE YEARS AGO WITH MY MOTHER. THE ONE SHE HAD WAS PROBABLY CAST . IT WAS VERY HEAVYWEIGHT. IT WAS FROM DENMARK. THATS WHERE THESE COOKIES ARE MADE. THEY ARE LIGHT COOKIES THAT YOU SPRINKLE WITH POWDERED SUGAR. THE IRON IS SUPPOSED TO BE HEAVIER AND THICKER TO ACCOMMIDATE THE BATTER WELL. YOU CAN ONLY DIP TO THE TOP EDGE THEN WHEN FRYING IT FALLS OFF THE IRON. THIS IRON WOULD BE A WASTE OF TIME TO USE DO TO THE VERY POOR DESIGN.FIND A BETTER ONE THAN THIS I WASTED MY MONEY. VERY OVERCHARGED 12.24 FOR JUNK LOOKS LIKE IT IS FROM DOLLAR STORE. SHIP WAS 5.21 THAT WAS PROBABLY FAIR. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THIS IS NOT AN ORIGINAL COOKIE MAKER LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE. EVEN THE HANDLE IS SUPPOSED TO BE MUCH LONGER AND HEAVIER. SOMEONE COULD GET BURNED.
