Gerber Gear Blunt Nose Multitool, Black

I have the black ones and I don’t recommend it because the paint comes off onto my hands. They are actually more convenient to use than my Leatherman Wingman, however the Leatherman looks and feels to be of higher quality. The tool I use the most only takes a two step move to get to using the MP600, where as it’s a 3 step move with the Leatherman. So the design seems to me to be pretty good over all. I’d rather have pliers with spring action and the MP600 doesn’t have it, but it’s not a deal breaker. The MP600 also has more tools than the wingman, but it remains to be seen how much of a difference that will make for me in the future. More isn’t necessarily better. Also, mine came with scratches and dings, so I suspect it was a return item being sold as new. That might also explain the paint coming off. Maybe they’ve been touched up a little? IDK. I will likely keep these as a backup, but I’m docking two stars because the tool feels a bit flimsy and the paint job is poor.
