Excellent for Macaws That Like to Flip Bowls

Highly recommend if you have a large bird (macaw) that likes to flip bowls and make a mess. I got 2 of these and I spent quite some time looking for ones that were large, stainless steel, could be attached to the cage, and could not be flipped. I should have gotten these a very long time ago. Normal bird bowls just sit inside of a ring which can be easily flipped by birds but there's no way with this snapping function that he can flip it. The weight of the water in the larger bowl also helps. Highly recommended. Buying 2 more of the large bowls to make sure he has water while I'm away for a few days. Get it.

Would be five stars except for the stickers and strength needed

I think the part that attaches to the door is great and seems solid. I like that it fits a variety of cages. The bowls are large and good quality. The cost was reasonable. Two negative things that caused my three star rating: 1.) the bowls have large stickers on the bottom and side that you can’t remove easily. I had to soak them overnight and use a magic eraser to get them off. It was a struggle and very annoying since I had wanted to wash them quickly before use instead it was a whole operation. 2.) The bowls are pretty firmly attached to the holder part and some force needs to be used to get them to attach/unattach. I had hoped it would be a bit easier since the cat I’m using it for is pretty scared and it’s not smooth. On the upside, I don’t think they’ll get accidentally knocked down.
