Great skin moisturizer. It absorbs quickly into the skin. great for hands, face and any dry skin. My mother and my grandmother both turned me onto this product. I work in Healthcare and as such wash my hands frequently. Alcohol skin disinfectant is notorious for drying out skin. I do recomend this product.

Amazon Delivered Soupy Udderly Smooth Body Cream -- Defective
By Orlando-John on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2019
Been using Udderly Smooth Body cream for past seven years. And keep a stock of it on-hand. Received three 12-oz jars of the product from Amazon about six months ago, discovered belatedly, when opened, all three are soupy liquid rather than a cream like all previous purchases have been. Wasn't sure if Udderly had reformulated the product or that the jars I received were defective. Situation was aggravated when AMZ raised the price by 2.5X. So I ordered anew from Walgreens for delivery to their local branch, paying $3.70 per 12-ounce jar, plus tax, about the same at the AMZ's former add-on item price. Was reassuring to see that the Walgreens Udderly Smooth is the same cream formulation I had always enjoyed. Am discarding the soupy, defective product from AMZ because it does not absorb well into the skin and instead leaves a greasy sheen. Bottomline. Udderly Smooth Body Cream is normally a 5-star product. BUT, promptly open every jar of it you receive from Amazon to verify the content is NOT a soupy liquid, rather than a cream. If it's soupy, it's defective and merits 1-star. As such, return the soupy jars to Amazon.

The best skin moisturizer I've used, bar none. Before I encountered this product, I dreaded wintertime showering because of the annoying "spasms" of intense itching that were sure to follow. The variety of my wife's lotions that I tried served to reduce but never were able to eliminate the problem. Several years ago someone gave us a container of Udderly moisturizer. I was frankly put off by the name, and didn't try it until an unusually bad itching spell after a couple of very closely spaced showers got me into the mood of being willing to "try anything." The Udderly Smooth product worked, completely eliminating the itching. Furthermore the very light, pleasant scent didn't leave me surrounded by the aura of a perfume factory or a major vanilla extract spill as was true for some of the other skin care products I had tried. My main annoyance has been the inability to buy it locally. I did find some at Walmart once—not among the other skin moisturizers, but in with a collection of products that were apparently on trial. Considering that one normally doesn't look for moisturizers among new designs of mousetraps. potato peelers, oven cleaners and the like, the fact that there were any sales at all needs to be considered as a minor miracle. Give it a try!

I am an avid outdoor enthusiast along with being a professional that works outside consistently and have used this lotion for many years. This hand lotion is the only one I use. Knowing horses and using another product with lanolin in it, I know it is a very effective ingredient to have in a lotion. Because of that I find if I add a bit more liquid lanolin to this the product, it is even more effective. I'm one of those that will not wash my hands unless I have this lotion around to put on afterward. It has proven to me that it does leave a protective layer on my skin that washing takes off (or too much plain water). My mom too has used this lotion and it is her constant 'go to' lotion. When I've talked to others who have been picking it up at the store, they too 'swear' by it. I do hope this product is a keeper on the market for many years to come.

This is the second bulk order I have purchased. The first one was through my husband's account. This last through mine. I did not write a review the first time. I live in Florida and wonder if the heat during shipping and delivery is the culprit. Both orders arrived with the cream liquified in all jars and I don't know if liquification affects the integrity of the product. I have spilled the contents repeatedly on myself, furniture and In my car, etc. by just opening the jar. I am using it as a moisturizer for eczema, use it frequently and have jars in multiple locations. If the formula is altered this delivery method should be re-evaluated. If it is not altered, a pump bottle would prevent spillage.
Excellent product.

Over the last couple of years I have had outbreaks of psoriasis on my knee, elbow, and my hands. I've been prescribed a topical cream that contained steroids - which only seemed to make things worse. My hands were so bad they cracked, bled, and were always painful. My elbow was not quite as bad, but my knee was also becoming cracked and painful. I tried several home remedies...with no luck. Finally, thought I would give this a try and I am so glad i did. My hands were immediately soothed and within a couple of weeks were no longer injured at all. My elbow cleared up in another week. My knee is much, much improved, but is still a little red. It was much deeper and larger of an area so it is taking longer for this spot to go away. It is no longer painful or itchy, however. I also bought a jar for my Dad who also suffers from psoriasis...he is also improving greatly. I am always going to make sure he and I have a jar of this stuff around.
Best hand cream I have ever used

Best hand cream I have ever used. I am constantly having to wash my hands due to exposure to dirt, grease, solvents, etc. So I have to use it several times a day and at night when I go to bed. Works great. However, I didn't care for the version with urea added. Didn't seem to work any better and the cream seemed gritty. And it was more expensive. The best hand cleaner is boraxo powdered hand soap. Unfortunately they started adding perfume to it. Smells awful, but I still use it. I have been using it all my life. Don't care for the water-less hand cleaners. If my hands are especially greasy, I clean first with simple green and paper towels and then boraxo.
WOW. IT ACTUALLY WORKS.

In order to put this in context, I must first admit that I qualify for senior citizen discounts. :) Over the last few years, the skin on my legs and backside had gotten so dry it felt like sandpaper. I've known about the Utterly Smooth hand lotion and how well it works for a long time. So, when I recently learned that Utterly Smooth had a body cream, I decided to try it. I used it every day, after showering, for about a week and the results are amazing. Now, I only need to use it once a week to maintain the results. I highly recommend this product. If you're too young to need this, get a jar for your Mom. She will love it.

Excellent moisturizer, unscented but perfumey smell

I usually use cetaphil. I was excited when I saw the price of this and the reviews and thought I’d give it a try. This stuff moisturizes very well. I was seriously obsessed with it when I first got it. It made my skin soft, smooth and moisturized. I used a lot more product than with the cetaphil but it still seemed like a deal. While this stuff is unscented, it does have a smell. While it smells good, it does remind me of older perfumes. I just don’t want to smell like that all the time. I’ll probably continue to use it at times but it won’t be an every day moisturizer due to the way it smells.

I have used this productUdderly Smooth Body Cream Original Formula, non-greasy skin moisturizer for dry skin, lightly fragranced, 12 oz. jar for years . It healed my cracked skin on my hands . It is excellent at healing and making skin smooth. I like it also because its not full of perfume or greasy . It rubs into the skin and has helped keep me out of the pain from cracked skin on my hands and around my fingernails. I plan on using it for the rest of my life because my hands have become extremely sensitive to chemicals and even water . This was the cure for me .
