The best so far at the same price as the inferior ones.....
By Happy Shopper on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2015
Over the past 45 years, I've done a lot of air conditioning work on cars and used a lot of can tap valves. I am also a manufacturer of machined metal components. I've used inferior cast zinc ZAMAK ones, that old timers called "pot metal." I have the expensive Master Cool one selling a nearly twice the price. This one is about the same and works just as good. The bar handle is fine. The cast round garden hose bib chrome plated "faucet" like handle is not necessary and even adds to bulk in the tool box. The best ones, like this one, are machined from solid hex yellow brass bar stock like good pipe fittings. This is such a good deal, I bought three (3) of them.

Necessary Modifications
By Chris Cox on Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2017
Read this review for necessary modifications... Worked OK for the first few cans, but still took a long time to put 12 ounces of refrigerant into the a/c. The third can took almost 40 minutes to dispense. On the fourth can, it just stopped up, nothing came out at all. I removed the hose and noticed a black rubber ball in the orifice where the hose connects. I pushed that ball in and the refrigerant started flowing again. It still took over 40 minutes to empty the can, because very little refrigerant could get past that ball. For my next vehicle, I decided to modify the valve by removing that check ball. Note: modifications were made without a can of refrigerant attached! I used a drill + drill bit to drill out the small rubber ball, and then used a can of compressed air to blow out all of the small debris It took a few attempts to get all of the rubber out. I have since used the modified tap on 6 more cans of refrigerant (several vehicles), and I can now empty a new 12 ounce can in about 3-4 minutes.
