Beautiful Unique Bowl for a Lifetime (update)

I gave this to my sister for her birthday. She adores it! Not only is it beautiful, but it is just the right size for many uses...not too big, not too small. With the proper care, I can see the beauty of this bowl improve with age, as many woods do. It should last forever for those who wish to take special care. I'll get one for myself some day. Another plus is that it adds texture and a point of interest to a table setting, bringing in a bit of Nature and a sense of rustic ambiance. This bowl is the perfect gift at the perfect price range for those looking for a meaningful personal gift without breaking the bank! July 2014: My sister is still loving this bowl and uses it all the time. I was over at her house the other day and it is now more seasoned and the wood is just beautiful.

item is beautiful however it did crack

This item is indeed a quite beautiful! A few months later I came back to my home in Utah and noticed it was cracked from the side all the way down to the center. I moved many years back and it has been in the box since then. The idea was to glue it back together but the crack is more than 3 mm wide.
