Better than the "Plow and Hearth" version
By Just call me Cookie on Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2025
I used to buy my fatwood from Plow and Hearth, but it was getting too expensive, even with a "sale". I saw Amazon carried it, so I thought I'd try it. I will be buying my fatwood through Amazon from now on. Besides a better price, the Amazon fatwood is more like kindling than the P&H, which is much more like little sticks. I make my own fire starters, even though Amazon sells those also. It takes one to light the fatwood, whether homemade or purchased. Fires are easy to make since the Amazon fatwood burns longer.

Not very “fatty”
By Aaron Weber on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2025
Much of the wood is not very “fatty” leading me to have to use 2-3 pieces to get a fire starter. The first shipment I had was of better quality. This one is disappointing.
