Coghlan's Drinking Water Tablets, 50 CT

After purchasing these I found out they don't necessarily kill every thing that could harm you in water. However there is a different water purification tablet that does. It just takes longer to work. So I only gave this three stars because the other tablet just makes more sense. These tablets are more design for streams and freshwater sources that haven't been contaminated. But if you're looking for something to use during a natural disaster you really need something that purifies the water one hundred percent. Although even the tablets only do so much. In addition you would have to have a portable filtration system like a straw that filters out larger and also microscopic debris. Then use the tablets to kill anything else that could harm you. I haven't tried these yet so I'm not sure about the taste or effectiveness. But I would not use these except for hiking in case of emergency. Where there's a fresh water sources available.
