Merrell Men's Jungle Moc Slip-On Shoe(Open Box)

I purchased a pair of these to use during the winter and on rainy days. No snow yet this season, so all I've done is wear them on a few rainy days. They were as advertised water proof or at least water resistant, my feet stayed dry whereas with running shoes they would surely have been pretty wet. They are, as you might expect, very easy to put on and take off at the door on your way out. Besides that, they are a good fit for me. Just a bit tight, which is useful in a slip on so that they don't slip off when you need them. They are generally very comfortable. I've only worn them on a few walks of a couple of miles or so, but they were fine for that distance. Traction is quite good on a trail with a bit of mud, and especially good for walking up hills. My only concern is the heel which is a bit hard for my tastes--I'd like a bit more cushioning there if I had a magic wand. Overall a nice shoe at a very good price.
