Why did you pick this product vs others?: I have another pair, and they're the only shoes I can wear. I'm excessively overpronate, besides having one leg shorter. These shoes are the only ones that keep me balanced and help reduce my lower back pain.

These are not non-slip in any way

These are not non-slip by any stretch of the imagination, at least when compared to regular non-slip work shoes. My daughter works in a kitchen and actually had to go home to change her shoes because these were unsafe and completely unwearable. They are very comfortable, and good for many other things. If they were not advertised as non-slip I would have given them at least four stars. I own eight pairs of Merrells personally and I'm a huge fan, but these do not work as advertised
