Top positive review
Heavy duty, large shackle.

These are large heavy-duty locks. They are well built. The dials turn crisply. It’s easy to set the combination. With the combo mechanism on the bottom, I’m expecting that the mechanism won’t see much rain for outdoor use. Caution. Larger than I had imagined and they didn’t fit my Rubbermaid Storage Shed. They probably won’t fit most lockers. However, they did fit my fence and wood shed, which have larger hasps. Check the size before you buy.

Just ok!

I used 1 of these locks for 5 years on a regular basis and a couple months ago it started not locking when you would close it and I thought maybe it just needed to be lubricated with WD40 and I did that and it started working again but then I was just messing around with it to make sure it worked good again consistently and it started doing the same thing again so I bought 2 of these but 1 of them is rarely ever opened at all and it still looks brand new on that specific gate and I'm assuming it still works fine because hardly anyone ever actually even uses that specific lock, just a few times a year actually but on the other gate that lock started failing and I replaced it with basically the same type of master combination lock with a longer shackle and in the gold color and I ordered that lock with the regular length shackle but they sent me the longer length shackle which makes it easier to use and its working fine so far but at the same time it could be easier for some thief to cut the longer shackle plus if you don't latch it tighter on your chain for example there could be a wide enough opening in the middle for some predator to walk straight through or one of your animals like a sheep or whatever to escape also from your property but I do like how the dials will spin when your lock is unlocked plus you don't have to have your combination set when you close your lock as well as when you open it both because for some strange reason a lot of these combination locks don't even allow you to spin the dials when your lock is open which is really stupid because if you have your gate, shipping container or whatever opened and if the numbers won't spin if somebody is visiting you or on your property for example who might be an acquaintance or associate but not really someone you fully trust 100% you don't want them knowing what your lock combination is obviously but if they just look at the lock numbers and remember them they could come back later to access your property so whatever locks don't allow you to spin the numbers when your lock is unlocked is really dumb and some of those locks or other combination locks that do allow you to spin the numbers force you to enter your combination when you lock your lock as well as unlock it which is really stupid also but these locks are not like that so I do like that point but what I don't like is that you could put a thin little piece of metal between where the numbers are and if you push it just right inside according to the lock picking lawyer abd others on youtube you can pop these locks open within just a couple seconds which is really pathetic and should be fixed ASAP but I do like how you set your combination actually having to use the little key because I don't think your combination can be changed accidentally that way even though other people don't like that I actually do but I don't like how these can be picked or bypassed easily and my 1 lock only lasted 5 years and it wasn't even used on a daily basis but maybe a few times a month but it was out in the weather and I got my money's worth out of it because it wasn't expensive but I do believe combination locks and all locks need to be improved regarding the durability and how easily they are either picked or bypassed no doubt about it because locks should be a lot more secure at this point in time in 2025 in my opinion instead of not being much better if even better at all after all this time but like I said I do like how you can spin the numbers when your lock is unlocked as well as lock it without setting your combination but I don't like how you can pick them or bypass the combination so easily using a thin piece of metal plus they're not really that durable where at least my 1 lock didn't last very long but I think it was still worth the money but I would rather pay a little bit more to have a more secure longer lasting lock honestly but these locks are just okay in my opinion.
