Did exactly as needed and cut cleanly to fit to size. If you need to cut and drill new holes, drill with the smallest bit on the cork side, then go to the screw head size and countersink 1/8” into the cork. It will give you the clean manufacturing look.

The cork is way too thin. Not even thumbtacks work on this, let alone pushpins. It’s a total waste of money. Do not buy.
