If I could give this product 10 STARS I would. This product is amazing & super easy to use. Amazon has the best price for purigen. Lowers negative numbers on water test clears all the cloudy water & makes aquarium look like 4k tv. AMAZING STUFF

If you expect it to work like the video you will need to use one pack per tank or buy mesh bags and a bottle of this stuff. I followed the instructions, cut the bag in three pieces, used my lighter to seal it back after putting in the two teaspoons necessary to clean the 10 gallon tanks i have and it's been in there over six hours with not much change. I suspect it will take a few days at this rate. The video uses an entire pack for a 10 gallon to get clear in 6 hours. I'll update how long it took after the tannins clear up. But if you want it to work in six hours like the video I suggest buying a large bottle and the mesh bags separately and filling them with the same amount that this single bag has in it. It'll probably cut down on recharge times and surely get the job done faster. Alright update: It took several days with the exact amount they claim would work. I decided to order mesh bags and get a 500ml bottle to make a few packs and when I did that I was crystal clear in a few hours. One major issue is the recharging. I placed the old stuff in the bleach/ water solution and it's been two days... it only lightened up a little. I placed an air stone in it to keep it circulating and I'll check tomorrow but the 50/50 solution isn't working thus far. Will update yet again after that. Last update: This sat with the air stone circulating in a 75%/25% bleach to water ratio and STILL didn't lighten up. The resin is still brown. A little bit lighter but no where near white so it will be impossible to know when they're filled again and if they're actually working until your tank end up mucked up. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to reuse them and will have to rely on filter feeders to do nature's good work.
