Pana-Vue Transformer/AC Adapter

Worked great and easier than inserting batteries, especially if you need to review couple hundred or more slides

I needed a plug to operate a 2x2 automataic slide viewer with built in battery recharger. I have owned this machine for over 20 years. When I plugged in the charger, the unit worked perfectly, and I started viewing slides immediately.

Surprised that it is still available, and now, with more people reverting back to "film" as their photography medium, I am truly excited that both the Pana-View power adapter and the device its self is still available!

Great product to make my old Pana-Vue really much easier to use. No more worries about batteries running low which negatively affects clear viewing of the slides. Since I'm going through literally thousands of old slides, this adapter keeps me from having to change batteries all the time. Very fast shipping and the adapter fits perfectly on the viewer. Over the years the cord was lost and my Pana-Vue 1 slide viewer wouldn't work with 3 new D batteries even though I cleaned contacts with vinegar trick. The cord arrived quickly and exactly what I needed! Now I just need to view LOTS of old family slides before I scan in the ones I want to save.

A very nice little gadget that lets me preview slides and to a lesser extent, negatives, which allows me to sort them before scanning onto my computer. Just what I was looking for and just what I needed. Works great.

Product worked perfectly with a Panavue slide viewer I have had for probably 40 years. I never had an AC adapter for it, we always used it with batteries. Slides were so much cheaper than film developing back then, so my family's early years are on hundreds of slides. I recently decided to revisit the slides we took so many years ago and could not get it to work with even new batteries so I decided to check Amazon for another viewer. When I realized there were still some of these viewers out there and they weren't cheap, I found this AC adapter. It appears to be good quality and the viewer is brighter than I remember it being on battery power. I will be able to sort my slides easily.

This plus fits perfectly with my vintage Pana-Vue 1. Now I'm finally able to view our family slides from my youth! And I can show my adult children.
