200 ct. Broad Line Washable Markers in 8 Colors

I bought these to use in my first grade classroom. I love that they are crayola so they are easy to recap, the colors are nice, and they last a long time. I chose this box because I thought I only needed these 8 colors. The non-washable ones have more colors, but you end up paying a more for fewer markers in the most used colors (the 8 colors in this classpack are used the most in my class). I don't like that the washable markers don't soak into surfaces right away. Their pictures and writing are messy because they smear when touched before dry. That means many children have marker color all over the side of their hands from where it transfers off the paper. To make matters worse, when the side of the child's hand gets wet, the first thing they do is wipe it on the front of their shirt. I guess it's good that they are washable, but the regular markers didn't get all over clothing the way these do. I don't know why anyone would get these. The regular Crayola markers usually wash off clothing nicely and these are much messier.
