Features

This is a long athletic tube sock that stays where you put it. The over-the-calf length reaches well past where a crew length stops, covering the bare leg that knickers, capri pants and sliding shorts leave exposed, and a ribbed leg with a double welt top holds it at that height for a full game so it does not roll down partway through. It works as shin guard socks under a guard and sits under a knee pad without bunching, which is why the same pair is worn as baseball socks, football socks, field hockey socks and volleyball socks across both spring and fall seasons. Durability comes from the yarn. Polypropylene and polyester resist thinning and pilling, while the rubber and spandex content gives the stretch that pulls the sock back to shape after every wash rather than leaving it stretched out. The color holds through a full season of washing, so black soccer socks bought in one order still match the rest months later. Easy on and off matters most for younger players. With no fitted heel to line up, kids soccer socks like these pull straight on in one motion, so a child can manage a pair without help. That same straight shape is what lets one size fit a wide range of calf widths. Comfort is handled by a low cushion footbed and a smooth comfort toe seam that lies flat instead of rubbing. Light compression keeps the sock steady without gripping, and the knit moves sweat off the skin so the foot stays dry. Sizes run from youth to adult in men's and women's shoe sizes, so every age on a roster is covered: X-Small for Youth 8-12, Small for Youth 12-5, Medium for Women 5-10 or Men 5-9, Large for Women 10-13 or Men 9-12, and X-Large for Men 12-15. Girls soccer socks and boys soccer socks are the same sock here, only the size changes, and the smaller end doubles as youth soccer socks and girls softball socks. With 28 colors stocked, matching a team uniform means picking the shade and size. TCK has designed tall team socks from its North Carolina base since 1961.
