- DO YOU REALLY NEED ADJUSTABLE TEMPERATURES? The PYT iron heats between 140 - 450 degrees F! Different types and thicknesses of hair should be styled at different temps to prevent long term damage? Super thick and/or curly hair, should use a setting of between 380 and 400 F. Medium-straight hair between 340 and 360 F and fine or thin hair shouldn’t go above 350 F. We won’t fry your hair!
- WHY CERAMIC PLATES? At PYT, we are proud to write “Infrared Heat” on our packaging. We use only the highest grade ceramic in high levels because ceramic heat is Far Infrared - the best kind of heat to lock in moisture and eliminate static and frizz to keep your hair glossy and silky smooth. Watch out for imitations - if the label doesn’t say “infrared”, the ceramic levels in the plates are too low! Beware!
