The Surveymaster is used for measuring themoisture level of non-conductive and porous con-struction materials. It has two modes of operation– Search and Measure. In Search Mode, theSurveymaster is a moisture detector which givesreadings of the moisture condition beneath the sur-face materials. This is ideal for making rapid sur-veys of walls and floors to pinpoint areas of concernthat may require further investigation. This modecan also be used as an alternative to the MeasureMode when it is impractical or undesirable to pushelectrode pins into surfaces. In Measure Mode, theSurveymaster measures the moisture level of thematerial between the two electrodes. It has inte-gral pin electrodes that can be pushed into sur-faces, or it may be used with various auxiliaryprobes including the deep wall probes (supplied) or a hammer electrode (optional).
