For travelers who want an extra set of eyes in unfamiliar spaces. When you check into a hotel room or vacation rental, you do not always know who was there before you. The Hero Privacy Pen gives you a quick, easy way to check your space for anything that does not belong. It is not a CSI-grade scanner. It is a practical, everyday awareness tool that fits in your pocket and takes about three minutes to use. Thousands of travelers use it for exactly that reason. What it does: The Hero Privacy Pen has three modes. In RF detection mode, it scans for wireless signals from cameras, GPS trackers, and similar devices. In infrared mode, it shines a light that reflects off camera lenses, helping you spot them visually in a darkened room. In door alarm mode, it hangs on a door handle and triggers an alert if the door moves. How to get the best results: For RF mode: reduce nearby wireless activity as much as you can, and use the adjustable sensitivity setting to filter out background signals from phones, routers, smart TVs, and other common devices. For IR mode: dim or turn off the lights, and sweep slowly across mirrors, clocks, vents, and smoke detectors. For door alarm mode: hang it from the door handle before you sleep, and use it as an extra awareness layer. What to expect: This device helps you check your environment, not monitor it for you. Customers who use it as a quick peace-of-mind sweep before settling in consistently report satisfaction. It works best when you follow the included instructions and keep your expectations realistic. Compact, rechargeable, no app needed, and small enough for any bag or pocket. One device. Three tools. Fits anywhere.
- YOUR TRAVEL PRIVACY COMPANION: The Hero Privacy Pen is a compact, pocket-sized tool designed to give you extra peace of mind when staying in hotels, Airbnbs, or vacation rentals. It combines three privacy awareness modes into one discreet pen shaped device, so you can do a quick sweep of any unfamiliar space before you settle in. No app, no setup, no Wi-Fi needed.
- RF WIRELESS SIGNAL DETECTION: Switch to wireless detection mode and slowly sweep the pen near objects that look suspicious. The device alerts you, either with an audible beep or silent vibration, when it picks up wireless signals nearby. Signal strength increases as you get closer to the source. Adjustable sensitivity helps reduce false alerts from background Wi-Fi and Bluetooth devices. Works best when you minimize nearby wireless signals during your sweep.
- INFRARED CAMERA LENS FINDER: Activate the infrared light mode and dim the lights in the room. Slowly point the pen toward mirrors, clocks, vents, smoke detectors, and other common hiding spots. Camera lenses will reflect the infrared light back as a small bright dot or ring shape, making them easier to spot. This mode works best in a darkened room and is designed to help you visually check for hardwired or locally recording cameras that do not emit wireless signals.
- DOOR MOTION ALARM FOR ADDED AWARENESS: Hang the Hero Privacy Pen on your hotel room door handle or secondary entrance before bed. If the door moves, the built-in alarm activates to alert you. The alarm is designed as an added layer of awareness for light sleepers and travelers who want a simple, low-profile door alert. Compact enough to toss in a carry-on or purse, and no installation required.
- 3 TOOLS IN 1, COMPACT ENOUGH FOR ANY BAG: Most standalone RF detectors, lens finders, and door alarms are sold separately and cost significantly more. The Hero Privacy Pen combines all three in a device the size of a standard marker (5.31" x 0.87" x 0.47"). Rechargeable battery, adjustable sensitivity, vibrate/silent mode option, clear built-in display, and no app required. TSA-friendly and carry-on safe.
