With "Follow Me" technology, a temperature sensor is built into the remote control to provide you with the most accurate thermostat reading. Installation is a breeze— simply install our included airtight bracket in the existing frame and connect the clip-on drainage hose. The Pelonis Portable Air Conditioner works with both hung and sliding windows. Models manufactured before 2017 were tested under the ASHRAE standard that listed a higher cooling capacity output. While the SACC BTU rating is listed lower than the previous ASHRAE rating, the construction and cooling capacity of the models remain unchanged.
