• 12 ounces butter softened • 1 large egg • 1 Tbsp. of milk Preheat oven to 350°F. In bowl combine 4 ounces of butter, egg and Cookie Mix with electric mixer on low speed, until crumbly. Increase to medium speed; mix until dough forms, about 1 minute. Refrigerate 1 hour. Roll out dough on lightly floured surface to ¼ inch thick. Cut with cookie cutter. Lay cookie on ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart. Gently place sticks under the cookie dough and press firmly. Bake for 8-12 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 1 minute. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Frosting Mix: In a bowl combine 8 ounces of softened (not melted) butter and Frosting Mix. Beat until smooth then incorporate 1 tablespoon of milk. If the frosting seems a little to thick to spread easily, add more milk by the tablespoon. Spread on cooled cookies and sprinkle on sparkly sugar. Enjoy! |
