Before getting started, download the LizaCam App to your phone or tablet.
To connect the camera:
1. Plug the camera into a wall outlet.
2. Wait 30 seconds for the camera to fully power on. Wait until the light is solid, changes colors, and then has a pink for like a second and a small flash of blue. If the light is flashing, see the instructions below to reset the camera.
Connecting to the camera: You will connect to the camera using your home's Wi-Fi.
1. On your phone, go to the available Wi-Fi networks settings and look for a character string that starts with: CMSxXX-XXXXX-XXX. That is your camera. Note that it may say no internet connection at this point. Don't worry about that. If you can see the camera on your Wi-Fi networks, you're good.
2. Open the LizaCam App.
3. Click the + button and select your camera.
4. Press the "..." button to search for your home Wi-Fi. When asked, enter your password and press Connect. It will take about 30 seconds for the camera to register and connect. Next, the camera will restart and connect directly to the app via Wi-Fi. This will take another 30 seconds. If necessary, you can reset the connection from within the app.
Resetting the camera:
1. Plug the camera into a wall outlet. Wait 30 seconds for the camera to fully power on.
2. Push a pin or paper clip into the small hole next to the light and hold it there until the light goes off and back on. Release the pin. The camera will restart. Wait until the light is solid, changes colors, and then has a pink for like a second and a small flash of blue. If it is FLASHING back and forth equal, try resetting the camera again.
