• Designed for general plumbing applications, this silver bearing alloy solid wire solder is ideal for soldering water-tight seals on copper pipes, hot water heaters and plumbing fixtures. The lead-free, antimony-free, formula is safe for potable water systems. Use with lead-free plumbing flux for excellent performance. It has a melting temperature of 430°F (221°C). Meets or exceeds the requirements for lead-free plumbing solder set forth in the Federal Safe Drinking Water Act Amendments of June 19, 1986. ANSI/NSF 61 certified.
