I’ve always loved what you can do with a mortar and pestle, whether it’s an authentic pesto, an olive oil marinade or even a dry rub. Its uses are endless.  Even though I love what it can do, I honestly don’t enjoy using them as they are hard to pour from, often heavy, and take up too much space in my kitchen.
