**Seresto Small Dog is water resistant and remains effective following a shampoo treatment, swimming or after exposure to rain or sunlight. Under normal conditions, effectiveness lasts for 8 months. In order to maintain an eight-month duration, dogs must not be bathed more than once per month. For dogs that swim once a month or more, the control duration is reduced to 5 months for flea control and reduced to 7 months for tick control.

How to:

• Step 1: Be sure to attach the collar tight enough to ensure the collar is always coming into contact with your dog’s skin and hair.
• Step 2: Use the 2-finger rule: insert the end of the collar through the buckle, then adjust the collar so that it is possible to hold two fingers comfortably between the collar and the neck.
• Step 3: Pull excess collar through the loop(s) and cut off extra collar, unless it is on a growing puppy. See package insert for details.
