We learned a lot playing youth baseball: how to be part of a team, how to handle defeat, how to take coaching, how to stand motionless in a pasture for ten minutes at a time. Your kid could probably stand to learn those lessons, too. We don't recommend what we learned about chewing tobacco, though.
