When I was a lad, Comedy Central only came on at night. They aired MST3K, Absolutely Fabulous, and Kids in the Hall. Nobody was ever being "Roasted." No "insightful political commentary" was winning Emmys. It was a simpler time.
Mystery Science Theater 3000 was a landmark show in the history of Snark. Before then, snarky people had to scramble to make their OWN jokes while watching crappy movies. With the advent of MST3K, the burden of Snark was finally lifted.
