Craig sat behind his desk, checking the sales for that day's product: a Western Digital My Passport Hard Drive. Something bugged him about it, though he couldn't figure out why. It seemed like a missed opportunity. But how?
Suddenly it dawned on him: a passport was a form of identification primarily used for traveling great distances. In fact, it could be argued that, though the plane or train or bus or boat was the one doing the actual moving, the passport was the single most important thing involved, as it essentially unlocked large parts of the world that would be inaccessible without it. Then, Craig thought about the product itself: a hard drive, used for backing up files. Were his computer to crash and he to lose everything, he could use the hard drive to return things to order, as they were in the past, before the computer crashed.
"Passport, travel, past. Why, you could almost say it's a..." Craig paused to savor the words. "...time machine."
Branding the device as a time machine would allow him to charge as much as he desired. A thousand dollars? No. A million dollars? No. A billion dollars? Why not? It was a time machine, after all! He could do whatever he wanted! He was on the verge of being rich! FILTHY, FILTHY RICH! HE COULD TASTE IT! IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE--
