Remember, Thou Art Mortal
See, with these "famous maker" things, we make a deal. We get a nice bag, and somebody else keeps their name on the down low. And that sort of deal has been going on for decades. Decades! Almost since the very first sporting company was created!
Except the very first sporting company didn't have a little concept called "brand focus." And that's where the "famous maker" idea falls apart.
Naturally, this is a great golf bag. Six-way top, hip pad, hydration pocket, a fleece-lined valuables pocket, all the style and beauty you'd expect from this manufacturer with a name we can't openly say. But, when you open the shipping box, you're not going to have to wonder who that manufacturer was for very long. Like, it's probably going to be down the side in huge letters. And those huge letters aren't going to say "Famous Maker" if you get what we're saying here.
So please, don't buy this bag for the name we're saying. Buy it for the name we aren't saying. And probably, if you spend a little bit of time doing some research, you'll be able to figure out which "Famous Maker" was involved.

Top Comments are discussion forum posts we have deemed worthy of your time. Listen, we get a lot of comments, and most of the time, it's pretty forgettable stuff; but sometimes you rise to the top like butterfat in milk. We don't recommend you base your self-worth on how often we feature your comments, but we don't expressly forbid it either.
